Oatmeal Banana Cookies are an easy 3 ingredient flourless, vegan and HEALTHY cookie you will love under 100 calories!
You don’t have to give up dessert to be healthy. You can try my Healthy Banana Cake, Balsamic Strawberries and Chocolate Walnut Cake, or this delicious cookie recipe. It’s full of rich banana flavor and oats and will make you want to sneak one or two breakfast cookies.
OATMEALÂ BANANA COOKIES
Here’s a good way to get rid of some overripe bananas without making yet another loaf of banana bread. Banana oatmeal cookies are delicious, healthier than run of the mill cookies, and fantastic with a piping hot cup of coffee. You will want to use ripe bananas that are getting a little rough looking, but don’t wait until your bananas are a year old. So break out a cookie sheet and a stand mixer and enjoy.

HOW TO MAKE OATMEALÂ BANANA COOKIES
- Preheat the oven.
- Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl. Mix the oats and vanilla extract into the banana.
- Scoop the dough onto a greased cookie sheet in rounded tablespoons.
- Use a cookie scoop or clean hands to roll the dough into tablespoon sized balls and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Let cool on a wire rack.
VARIATIONSÂ
- Peanut butter:Â Add just a little bit of peanut butter to the top of the cookies for a delicious frosting that is much better for you than conventional icing.
- Chocolate chips: Mix in some chocolate chips for a delicious healthier twist on chocolate chip cookies!
- Add ins: Mix in some cranberries, blueberries, nutmeg, chia seeds, chopped nuts or dark chocolate chips. The old fashioned oats go really well with berries, which brings out the delicious banana flavor.

Just done the oat cookies, added a bit of honey and vanilla essence for some sweetness but unfortunately our electrics went off a few times and I forgot about them, however, my husband came to the rescue. They are a bit crunchie (burnt) and not as sweet as he would like but definitely would try them again…. Thanks for this recipe.

Love this easy peasy recipe!! I like the suggestions of adding a little honey, cinnamon, chocolate chips, or peanut butter! Future batches I am going to add a little apple sauce raisins, chopped applies, dried cranberries! Endless possibilities with this simple fun cookie recipe!
