Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries , sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sugar , (or honey)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly-squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Add strawberries to a saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the berries start to break down.

  3. Stir in the chia seeds, sugar and lemon juice and cook for 2 minutes.

  4. Turn off the heat and let cool before storing.
  5. Refrigerate for up to 1 week.
