  1. Rub the salmon with the canola oil.
  2. Heat a grill pan or cast iron skillet on high heat and sear on each side for 3 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl add the rest of the ingredients and mix.
  4. Pour the sauce around the salmon and cook for 15 seconds, then spoon over the salmon and serve.
  5. Top with hot chili peppers and cilantro if desired.
