red bell pepper
thinly sliced

yellow onion
thinly sliced

teaspoons
chili powder

teaspoon
salt

paprika

white sugar

dried onion flakes
you can substitute onion powder

cayenne pepper
I use 1/2 teaspoon because we like a bit more spice

Instructions
Add one tablespoon of the canola oil to a large skillet on medium-high heat.
Add the chicken and brown on both sides, 3-5 minutes on each side.
Remove the chicken from the pan and add the garlic, bell peppers, onions and remaining oil.
Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Mix the remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
Add the broth/spice mixture to the pan with the veggies along with the chicken and stir well.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together well.
