Thai Sweet Chili Turkey Lettuce Wraps made with an easy sweet chili sauce, bell peppers and celery in lettuce cups. The perfect easy and light meal you can prep ahead.

Ingredients
 

  • 4 teaspoons canola oil divided
  • 1 pound ground turkey breast
  • 1/2 red bell pepper minced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper minced
  • 1 stalk celery minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger minced
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce

Instructions

  • Add 1 teaspoon of canola oil to a large cast iron skillet on medium high heat.
  • Add the turkey and break it apart with a spatula, cooking and stirring for 4-6 minutes until cooked through.
  • Add the red and green bell peppers, celery, garlic and ginger to the pan along with the remaining tablespoon of canola oil.
  • Cook and stir together until the peppers are just a tiny bit softened, another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the soy sauce, sesame oil and sweet chili sauce to the pan and stir.
  • Serve in iceberg lettuce cups.
