Ingredients
 

  • 1 pound cucumbers , approximately 2 cucumbers
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 small onion , thinly sliced
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

Instructions

  • Slice cucumbers thinly.
  • Toss the cucumber slices with the sugar and salt in a serving bowl and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • Add the onions and vinegar to the salad and toss until well coated.
